Moblie Hotspot Problems.

To isolate your concern, we recommend that you reconfigure your Mobile hotspot to make things work. We suggest that you uninstall the network adapter through device manager. To do this, follow the steps below:

• Right-click on the Start Menu.
• Select Device Manager.
• Look for Network adapters and click on it to expand.
• Right-click from the network device and click on Properties.
• Go to Driver tab and select Uninstall.
• Restart your computer for the changes to take effect. Note that Windows 10 includes native drivers for your network adapter. It will be reinstalled automatically.
• In the Search box, type
  Settings and press Enter.
• Click on Network and Internet.
• Select Mobile Hotspot.
• Turn on Mobile Hotspot.
• Reconfigure your Wi-Fi name and its password.
• Reconnect your devices and check if the issue persists.

Connecting to a moblie Hotspot

There are reasons why you are unable to connect your phone to mobile hotspot. It could be a hardware or network provider issue. To isolate the issue, please provide the following information:

• What is the model and OS of the device that you are connecting to the hotspot?
• Have you tried connecting to a different WiFi hotspot?
• Are you getting any error messages?

In this case, to assist you with your concern, we recommend that you perform the following steps to ensure that your Mobile hotspot settings in your device are properly configured. To do this, follow the steps below:

• In the Search box, type
  Settings and press Enter.
• Click on Network and Internet.
• Select Mobile hotspot.
  
• Turn on Mobile hotspot.
• Right-click on Start Menu and select
  Control Panel.
• Click on Network and Internet.
• Click on Network and
  Sharing Center.
• On the left-pane, select Change
  advanced sharing settings.
• Under Domain (current profile), make sure to select
  Turn on network discovery and Turn on file and print sharing.
• Under Private, make sure to select
  Turn on network discovery, Turn on file and print sharing and
  Allow Windows to manage homegroup connections.
• Under Guest or Public, make sure to select
  Turn on network discovery and Turn on file and print sharing.
• Under All Networks, select Turn on sharing so anyone with network access can read and write files in the Public folder.
• Click Save changes.
