Windows 10: mobo/dual monitor mystery. Help please

Hello. 5 76006750xt2x16 gb g skill Msi pro b650m-a wifi23" 1080p LG34" 1440p LGI built my first computer in December. Ive had no problems until now. I originally had a ultra budget Asrock mobo. I felt sure it was holding back my computers potential. So I heard I may need a bios update. I actually was several full versions behind, but again, I was having no trouble. Admittedly, I misinterpreted some info and fried my board. Confirmed by technicians. The DRAM bug light was on for good. Fast forward through more growing pains. Last night I installed the MSI board. I learned my bios lesson and was

Trouble with 2 monitors

I suggest you to change the settings to Extended Monitor and check if it helps.

Please follow below steps:

• Right Click any ware of the Desktop, and launch Personalization.
• Go to dual monitor settings under personalization, and change it Extended Monitor.

Dual Monitor Setup & Speakers

There are several factors which could prevent your dual monitors and your speakers from working properly. In order for us to effectively assist you with your concern, we just have a few questions for you:

• Are you getting an error message/code when trying to run the dual monitors?
• Have you tried running the hardware troubleshooter?
• Have you tried running the System File Checker tool?
• What troubleshooting steps have you already performed?

I understand that you are unable to use Dual monitors on the computer after updating Radeon software. I’ll certainly assist you with the issue.



However, please let us know:

• Do you see the second monitor detected when you go to Display Settings?
  
• Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? Refer
  Which version of Windows operating system am I running?
  
• What is the Make and model of the computer?
  

If you do not see the second monitor in Display Settings, I would suggest you to click on Detect and see if the second monitor gets detected.



Since you are facing this issue after updating the Radeon software, you may want to try rolling back the driver and see if that helps.



To do this, refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows key + X, and select Device Manager.
2. Expand Display adapters.
3. Right click on the Radeon Driver and select Properties.
4. Navigate to the Driver tab and click on Roll Back Driver.
5. Restart the computer if prompted.

Let us know the results. If the issue persists, we will certainly assist you further.
