Windows 10: Modem not functioning

    My modem stopped working and it's setup got destroyed. Windows is not identifying the modem. Please why?

    N70 Modem 'Not Functional'

    Hi all,

    I've been using my N70 as both a cable USB Modem and a Bluetooth modem for a year now. About a month ago it just stopped working.

    I can connect the phone via USB and my laptop runs through the installation of the N70 Modem and the installation wizard comes up with 'Installation Finished'. When I go into PC Suite and try to connect to the internet I get a "Failed to Establish Network COnnection
    Error'.

    I've checked in the control panel under 'Phone and Modem Options' and the N70 USB Modem is listed however under the 'Connected To' column the modem is listed as 'Not Functional'.

    Any ideas on how to solve this would be greatly appreciated, my local service provider can only recommend upgrading the phone's software again.

    Ok - now I'm really getting frustrated,

    Somehow by uninstalling and re-installing PC Suite I was able to connect to the internet using MY N70 earlier today. I've gone out this afternoon and now when I start-up my USB Modem is again listed as "Not Functional". I'm connected right now after installing
    a bluetooth modem - why won't the USB Modem stay working???

    can someone recommend me a wireless router with built in cable modem. Most of the devices ive seen are equiped with ADSL modems!
