Windows 10: Modified single occurrence name, now entire series on Teams Virtual Meeting shows the same...

We originally created a huddle series titled Clinical Genetics Huddle correct name for the series, and later edited one of the occurrences to readClinical Genetics Huddle - Scott Gallimore as guest to bring attention to that date, but now every time we join all the virtual meetings they show the title, Clinical Genetics Huddle - Scott Gallimore as guest.


The Outlook Calendar still shows the original title on the series, and the single occurrence has the edited title as it should, so it's weird that the guest title is showing up on all the calls.


Do you know what the issue could be?

Changing a single recurring meeting in a series in Microsoft Teams

I am using the Outlook Desktop App and previously I was able to edit just a single meeting in a series to edit location or make it a video conference and all of a sudden I can't anymore. I have several recurring meetings that, prior to COVID-19, were in-person
meetings. My organization is making decisions on a case by case basis currently, so I need the ability to change single meetings in a series.

When I select "just this one" and then click on Teams Meeting to make it a virtual meeting in the appointment, I get an error message saying "This is one appointment in a series. To make it an online meeting, open the meetings series and try again." I don't
want the whole series changed, just this individual meeting. I am not seeing this as an option when setting up the meeting through the teams app either. This just started happening last week.

 

Reoccurring calendar appointment does not show notes for changed single occurrences

I have a reoccurring calendar appointment that does not show notes for any single occurrence that has been changed.



For example: I have a reoccurring monthly meeting that is scheduled throughout the next year which includes conference call information within the notes section of the appointment. If a single occurrence of that meeting has a change of start time, I am
unable to see the notes section of that specific appointment unless I edit the calendar appointment and choose "edit all occurrences".



In summary, it appears that the notes section is removed for any occurrence which differs from the original reoccurring meeting. Has anyone else seen this issue or able to recreate it?

So I setup a reoccurring appointment and went in and made changes in the start time for several "single entries". When I go back and look at 8 different entries, they all show the notes I added when I set it up and as I looked at the appointments, the start
time that I adjusted for several entries shows correctly along with the original notes.
