Windows 10: Money App

When I open the app I get the message:

Service is currently not available
Please try later

This has been happening since I update my desktop from Windows 8.1. It worked on 8.1

I went to the Store, searched for Money and when the app MSN.Money displayed and I clicked on Open, the same message displayed.

Menu items work except for the Home and Watchlist.

My Ethernet connection is fine. I am running Windows 10 pro, 64 bits, on a Dell XPS 8500 with 12 GB of memory and an Intel I7-3770 CPU. AVG is my anti virus software.

Would appreciate any suggestions.

PS: I have the evaluation copy on my laptop and the Money app is fine so it must be something on my desktop.

Hi Carol. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 8 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

Let's hope it's as simple as going to Settings > Apps & Features > Money app > Advanced Options > Reset. Then restart PC.

If not you may need to Uninstall the app, restart then reinstall from Store app.

Money app

For some reason the Money app isn't working on my computer today. I click on it, get the green screen and then, a few moments later, my screen goes back to the desktop. Anyone know why?

 

First try to uninstall and re-install the Money app and come for help if needed. Also check your antivirus firewall is not blocking the app.
