Windows 10: Monitor being recognized as keyboard

So my problem is that, for some reason, my input device which should be read as a monitor is read as a keyboard instead. The input device I am trying to use is a graphics tablet specifically an XP-Pen if that is needed. I’m convinced the problem lies within my computer rather than the tablet. Is there a way to fix this problem? My computer is a windows 10, fully updated

Laptop suddenly stopped recognizing the external monitor

I suggest you to run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter by following the steps below:

• Click on the Start button, and type “Troubleshooting” on the search bar.
• Click on “Hardware and Devices”.
• A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and your hardware troubleshooting will start.

Keyboard and mouse not recognized after boot-up!

Thanks, but how would I be able to do any of the things that you suggest when Windows is not recognizing either my keyboard or my mouse?

I'll mention that I do intend to purchase a *wired* USB keyboard and mouse today and try them, but I'm not optimistic that they will be recognized by Windows either.
