Windows 10: Monitor connected via VGA to USB shows two pointers on top of each other

I have connected a VGA additional monitor to my desktop and it shows two mice one on top of the other, how can i fix this problem ?

Monitor connected via VGA to USB converter is blurry and shows two mouse pointers on top of each other.

I have connected a 2nd screen to my laptop via a vga to usb converter as the laptop does not have vga input. However, the screen is blurry and makes it very hard to read a text.

I can also see two mouse pointers on top of each other. This is especially evident if I try to change the mouse pointer size because in this case only one of them gets bigger or smaller and their color differs too sometimes (not always though), I assume somehow the settings on the laptop and the monitor is not aligned.

I have tried almost everything I could find on the internet. I changed resolution, restarted the computer, played with color management.

Does anybody have any ideas? The laptop does not have video card btw and the monitors are not the same brand.

 

Dell Monitor not displaying over USB-C to VGA dongle

Hi all

I am wanting to revive some use from my old Dell E2009W Monitor. The monitor only support VGA and/or DVI-D.
I am currently trying to connect it to my PC, which only supports the modern display ports, HDMI and DisplayPort.

So I have a USB-C to VGA dongle plugged into the PC and VGA into a cable connected to the monitor but nothing displays.

However Windows gives a notification: Display connection might be limited, make sure the DisplayPort device connection is supported by your PC...

I am unsure how to check this, but I assume my USB-C port is not display capable?
The USB-C port standard is Rear USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C​

If my assumption is correct, is there any suggestions for an alternative way to get the monitor display working?

Computer will not connect to Toshiba Monitor using HDMI to VGA

Hello Everyone,

Having problems connecting my computer HP pavilion desktop 590 to a Toshiba TV using HDMI to VGA connection. Any suggestions. Appears computer not recognizing the TV/monitor. Using the VGA on the TV that states PC connection.
