    Monitor Disconnects and Recconects and Overheating issue


    Hello, I have a Precision 5540 Laptop with a IntelR Core TM i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz, 16 Gb of RAM, and an NVIDIA Quadro T1000. It is connected to a Sceptre 24 inch Curved 144Hz Monitor via HDMI Cable. Over the past few days when I try to watch Netflix or Disney plus while my monitor is plugged in the screens will disconnect and reconnect multiple times. Eventually the monitor will go black but will still be connected to the computer even if I unplug the HDMI cable. I have the displays extended, and I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers.

    On a side note I have also noticed when I leave my monitor plugged in and close my laptop. My laptop will overheat, but if I shut down my computer the computer does not overheat.
