    I saw this question posted by another person named Ruben but the thread is locked. I found a better solution at least for my configuration. This issue was caused by the monitor, specifically, an Asus monitor. Mine is the VP278QG, but I would think the problem would be the same for a number of different Asus models. When I press ctrl-alt-del in Windows 11, I see the menu for a split second and then it fades to black. Here is the solution. You have to go into the monitor settings. Not Windows setting. You need to press the buttons on the monitor mine are next the power button. Then
