    monitor freezes but computer doesn't


    I have 2 monitors right now. They are Samsung S22D300 and AOC 2269W. I have the AOC as the primary.

    At some points when I am on my computer, they both freeze. I then tried unplugging the primary one. The second monitor (Samsung one) works just fine. I then plug it back in and it still frozen. This happens when I alt tab from Minecraft.

    I have the lastest drivers for my graphics card, which is Geforce GT 720.
    Any help?

    Video TDR Failure Windows 10

    While using my computer it will suddenly freeze then the monitor will not detect anything and go black. I can hear computer running but it doesn't sound right. Sorry for bad english. Does anyone have an idea of how to fix?

    My computer randomly freezes or BSOD's

    So, I've been having this problem for months now, and I cannot for the life of me figure out what is wrong.

    My computer randomly freezes or BSOD's at least once a day, My computer has no dust in the fans, nothing is blocking them either, so overheating is out of the way, I think it is more than likely software.

    The one BSOD stop code I can remember is "SYSTEM_SERVICE_ERROR" "win32kbase.sys", the last one always changes, sometimes it just isn't there. That BSOD happened about an hour ago.

    When it doesn't BSOD it just freezes, usually with a loud pop in my headset, when it freezes my monitors stay on, same as my keyboard and mouse, but I cant do anything on there the audio doesn't work and the fans and lights inside the computer stay on, I
    have no idea what is happening, and am desperate to fix it.

    I found this under my event log right before my computer booted off.


    Code: The description for Event ID 1060 from source Application Popup cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer. If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event. The following information was included with the event: \??\C:\WINDOWS\SysWow64\drivers\dhahelper.sys the message resource is present but the message is not found in the string/message table[/quote] I'm not sure if that helps.

    Monitors don't freeze but drivers for GPU can. Try reinstalling/ changing GPU drivers.
