Windows 10: Monitor Going Dark when watching a video in full screen.

When I watch Netflix or Youtube full screen in my browser the monitor goes black. I can still hear the audio, but no picture. I have to reboot the computer and it works fine again. This only happens during full-screen video and sometimes during a game. I looked online and tried every solution that people suggested.
1. Reinstall Silverlight
2. Turn off Hardware Acceleration in browsers
3. Change Monitor Framerate
4. Tried different browsers
5. Update, & reinstall graphics driver

6. Changed power settings to Performance

I am running Windows 10 and have an Nvidia GTX 960 using 3 monitors.

NOTHING works. Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

Can't watch videos on Win 10

Please assist me with the following information related to this issue:

• Which web browser are you using to watch online videos?
• Do you receive any error message?
• What is the make and model of the computer?

If you are using Internet Explorer to watch online videos, I suggest you to
follow the steps mentioned in the following link and check:Why won't videos play in Internet Explorer?

Note: The above mentioned article contains steps to reset IE. Resetting Internet Explorer's settings is not reversible. After a reset, all previous settings in IE are lost and cannot
be recovered.

Dell Laptop Touch Screen Glitches after Watching Video in Microsoft Movies & Video App

Since we have done some troubleshooting steps to no avail, we suggest that you check the device itself to identify if there’s a possible object that could cause the responsiveness of the touchscreen. To do this, we suggest that you clean the monitor of your
PC by following the steps below:

• Completely turn off your device.
• Closely examine the area that you’re cleaning.
• Use a microfiber cloth to remove any obvious dust and gently brush off any dirt particles.
• Never spray any solution directly to the screen, you may also use a proper cleaning kit to clean the monitor.
• After cleaning the screen, make sure that the monitor is completely dry before turning it on.
• Once you're done, you may check if the issue persists.

Note: If you’re using a screen protector, it may also cause the issue if the product is not designed for a capacitive touchscreen or has some bubbles in it.

Let us know if cleaning the device fixed the issue.

 

Video on Facebook Watch

I have noticed the problem is not just on Facebook watch, its with other videos on Facebook also.

I did the trouble shooter as you instructed, and Facebook is not listed as a "windows store" app. Not sure what the next step would be.
