  1. Monitor Going to Standby and Need to Restart

    Hi,

Recently my brand new monitor has been suddenly going to standby and the only way to wake it is to turn my PC off and on again. I previously had a dual monitor set-up and was having the same issues, so I know it isn't the monitor.

I have Googled the issue and it seems to happen to others but I couldn't seem to find a cause. I have removed and re-seated the graphics card and RAM, as well as given it a good clean.

    Basic PC info - Windows 10 Pro 20H2, IntelR CoreTM i7-5930K CPU @ 3.50GHz, 32GB RAM.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    :)

  4. Monitor Going to Standby and Need to Restart

Pc will not wake up from Standby

i would suggest you check how it is set to resume from standby, does your monitor automatically power off when the computer is turned off or do you have to press the power button on the monitor itself?
