Windows 10: Monitor having a line or gap at the far left / right of the screen (very seldom)

Hi guys,


As mentioned in the title, my monitor won't turn on when my desktop woke up from sleeping mode. I need to press the on and off button on my monitor in order to wake it up.


When my desktop went into sleeping mode, my monitor will go into sleeping mode as well (orange led) however, it did not wake up after my desktop woke up.


Anyone encountered this issue as well and is there any way to resolve this?

not sure if I can continue to ask from this thread..

I also noticed that very occasionally, there's a line / gap on the far left or right of the screen. but the issue is resolved once I turn off and on the monitor...


Do you guys ever encountered such issue before and if there's any solution behind this?

Missing scroll line down right side of screen

For us to isolate you concern with the scroll line down right side of your screen, we would like to know the following:

• Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue (e.g., updates, software installation)?
• Send us a screenshot of your scroll line down the right side of the screen.
• To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

I had to place the taskbar on the right because I could not access the extreme left features like on/off, internet, files, etc.

At first, everything opening the first time was so far left I don't know it was open! After settings on screen and monitor, adjustment to the far right, it still was not enough. If I close out of everything and reboot, its a process to drag anything I open
to the right so to use / view it. If I maximize anything, its not usable. My old system with windows 7 was fine with this same monitor.
