  2. Windows 10 is Resetting/Glitching with 2nd Monitor

    Hi Melanie,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community. Your interest in Windows 10 is much appreciated.

We understand how you feel about the situation. We're sorry for the trouble.

Method1: I suggest you to change the monitor setting make the 2 monitor primary and 1 monitor secondary and check if that helps.

Press Windows + P to make the changes.

Method 2: Update the graphic driver and check if that helps.

Follow the steps to update the graphic driver.

    • Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.
    • Expand Display Adapter and Select Graphic.
    • Right-click on the Graphic and click on Update driver software.
    • Restart the computer and check.
Hope this helps. If the issue remains unresolved, please get back to us and we would be happy to help

Things to do once connected new G-Sync monitor

I'm getting my G-Sync monitor today.

I think I have to take the following steps:

    • Connect 1440p G-sync monitor with DP cable
    • Connect second 1080p 60Hz monitor by HDMI
    • Startup PC
    • Reinstall display driver
    • Restart PC (I always do that after display driver install)
    • Activate G-Sync in NV control panel (I believe also V-Sync is auto on after that?)
    • Set my 1440p monitor from 1080p to 1440p
    • Calibrate my 1440p monitor
Also ingame, I should turn off V-Sync?
Are there any problems running a second 60Hz 1080p monitor?

Is there anything else I should do/know?

Every camera on my PC is glitching wildly

If every camera on your PC is glitching wildly, it could be due to a variety of reasons. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

    1. Sometimes, a simple restart can fix various software glitches.
    2. Try using different camera apps to see if the issue persists across all of them. This can help determine whether the problem is with a specific app or system-wide.
    3. Ensure that your operating system (Windows 10 or Windows 11) and camera drivers are up-to-date. Outdated software can lead to compatibility issues.

Make sure the camera permissions are enabled for the apps you are using. Go to Settings > Privacy > Camera and ensure that the toggle switch for camera access is turned on for the apps that need it.
    4. Malware or viruses can interfere with the functioning of your camera. Run a full system scan using a reputable antivirus software.
    5. Outdated or corrupted camera drivers can cause glitches. Visit your computer manufacturer's website or the camera manufacturer's website to download and install the latest drivers for your camera.
    6. If you're using external cameras, check the cables and connections to make sure they are secure. If the cameras are integrated into your laptop or monitor, there might be an issue with the hardware itself.
    7. Boot your computer into Safe Mode and see if the camera glitching persists. If it doesn't, it might indicate that a third-party application or driver is causing the issue.
    8. If you're using a specific camera app, try resetting its settings to default. Sometimes, incorrect settings can lead to glitches.

If the issue continues, it could be a hardware problem. Contact your computer's manufacturer or a professional technician for assistance.
Remember, the steps you take may vary depending on whether you're using Windows 10 or Windows 11. If the issue persists after trying these troubleshooting steps, it's recommended to seek help from a technical professional or the manufacturer's support.
