    Monitor looks so bright


    I bought a new monitor and the screen looks too bright. I can barely read some texts, especially the lighter ones. When I try to adjust the brightness from another application the images would become quite off - they're either too dark or too light, but the texts are more readable and the screen is slightly dim okay on the eyes.The brightness slider is also missing from the action center. Please help.
