Windows 10: Monitor no signal input after crash

Heya!I have got an issue that my monitor has no input signal after a random crash.What led up to this is that I was on a website that did some calculations and after about 5-10mins my pc crashed. This hasn't happened before so I was a bit surprised, but then I just tried to reboot and was met with the issue of no signal input.I only have one monitor, so I can't check if that's defective or even the cable. My Pc is mainly a pre build from HP, but I did add a 2nd 16gb ram stick from an unknown brand.Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks!

So you are suggesting that in the event this cable goes for a six, I try out the HDMI port? Seems quite a tenable suggestion - I never thought of that!

Input Signal Not found,

"input signal not found" is a message from the monitor not the computer. this is because the computer has stopped sending a signal to the monitor, which you should expect as it is shutting down.

connecting extra cables will make no difference as the monitor will only cope with one input at a time.
