Windows 10: Monitor not working on my acer aspire 5,but working on other hp laptop

Discus and support Monitor not working on my acer aspire 5,but working on other hp laptop in Windows 10 Graphic Cards to solve the problem; So i have a samsung syncMaster913n monitor which has a vga port so i bought an hdmi to vga converter so i can connect it with hdmi, it works normally...     Monitor not working on my acer aspire 5,but working on other hp laptop


    So i have a samsung syncMaster913n monitor which has a vga port so i bought an hdmi to vga converter so i can connect it with hdmi, it works normally on my hp laptop and orange pi but it doesn't work on my laptop acer aspire 5 a515 52g, is there some kind of a driver problem or do i need to install some drivers, i looked for sync master 913n drivers but all i found were just some malware programs (know that because i checked with virus total), also nothing show up in the device manager when i plug the hdmi in my laptop, any ideas on how to make it work?, any help is greatly appreciated

    Windows version: 1909

    Acer Laptops :are they crap ?

    Acer makes a cheap prodcut period. They user lower end plastics, as well as assembly. (I hate working on Acer laptops)

    If budget is an issue then get an acer... though for $50 more you could get a gateway that will smoke the acer in terms of quality.

    For a laptop though i would suggest one of the DV7T's from HP or a Business class Toshiba/HP/IBM (not the lenovo branded, the Thinkpads)

    Acer Aspire 5

    Ive recently bought an acer aspire 5 A515 52 laptop. It was advertised as having a backlit keyboard which is one of the main reason I bought this laptop over the others. I cannot figure out how to turn it on, ive looked through settings and tried fn+f9.
    Does anyone know how to turn the backlit keyboard on?

    Will also run on your laptop. And the list is quite long plus most of those that are listed as "not working" will most probably work on your laptop.
