    Monitor Power Settings

I recently installed two 2 new HP M22f monitors on my ~3-year-old HP desktop running Win 11. In the power settings on the PC, I have set the monitors to sleep after 45 minutes of inactivity. After the PC is booted up the monitors perform as the setting commands, but after they are reawakened they no longer go into sleep mode and will remain on for hours. Any suggestions on fixing this issue?

    :)

    Power plan?

Upon checking, it seems that there's nothing wrong with your system. It is usual that you have to double-click your mouse before your monitor wakes up.

For the meantime, we suggest changing the power plan by following the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + S.
    • Type in Power Settings.
    • On the pop-up window, choose Additional power settings.
    • Select High performance.

After changing the power plan, we suggest that you monitor the changes made and check if that will work for you.

Get back to us if you need further help.
