Screen Randomly Goes Black, Fans Max Out - PC Requires Power Cycle to Recover

I am experiencing a critical issue with my Maingear PC, which I hope you can assist me in resolving. My PC's screen randomly goes black, and the fans ramp up to the highest speed. I can only restore the PC to a working state by performing a power cycle.

    PC Specifications:

    • Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X (16 cores, 4.5 GHz, Boosts to 5.7 GHz)
    • Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090
    • Cooling: MAINGEAR EPIC RGB 360 AiO Liquid Cooler
    • Motherboard: ASUS ROG Crosshair X670E Hero
    • Memory: 64GB FURY Beast RGB DDR5 6000MHz (2x32GB)
    • Power Supply: MAINGEAR 1000W Ignition
    • Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11 Pro
    • M.2 NVMe SSD: 1TB Kingston FURY Renegade PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD
    Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

    1. Enabled and disabled XMP memory in the BIOS.
    2. Reinstalled the graphics card drivers.
    3. Updated the BIOS firmware.
    4. Verified that RAM modules are installed correctly.
    5. Ran the System File Checker (sfc /scannow) to detect file corruption.
Unfortunately, these steps have not resolved the issue, and I am still experiencing the black screen and high fan speed symptoms.

I would appreciate any assistance or guidance you can provide to help resolve this issue.

  3. Laptop fan spins up to max for no obvious reason

You don't need to check applications, etc if both CPU usage is way down and heat is way down. Its not magical Monitor Randomly Turning Black and Fan Speed accelerate to the max :)

Looks like usage was checked but I don't see temperature as checked. You want to confirm temperature. If both of those are not high then its either just fan speed is set to run at max either in BIOS or some sort of software, a BIOS issue, or a fan power cable issue.

I know on my last BIOS, it would randomly max the fans for up to 15 minutes after reboots sometimes.

In theory, it could also stay max if the fan speed BIOS code got into a state where it wouldn't ramp them down.

There's not a whole lot to fan speeds. Fans, cables, BIOS, software that can change the speed, heat, and usage (likely heat in majority of situations).

  4. Monitor Randomly Turning Black and Fan Speed accelerate to the max

Monitor is going black or distorted white randomly

I have a LCD monitor on my computer. Randomly, the monitor will either go completely black (as if powered off, and the power light turns off) or it will get a distorted frozen white screen (like how your smartphone would look if you dropped it in a toilet and tried to turn it on). Not too surprising, I have not dropped this 21 inch monitor in a toilet. The only way I can get the monitor to work again is by unplugging it and plugging it back in

I'm pretty sure that it is just a dead monitor that needs to be replaced, but a friend suggested that it might just be the power cord, since the monitor will work (like it is now) for hours on end, then suddenly start randomly not working. It's worth checking out, but before dropping money on a new monitor (if it isn't the power cord), can anyone confirm (or strongly suggest) that it is not a CPU issue or video card? Or maybe someone has seen this before?
