  1. Monitor Scaling/dual monitors, different size, same resolution

So I have a dual monitor setup, my second monitor is 27in, and my main monitor is 24in, when using backgrounds like shown here, I cannot get my background to line up correctly, if I still want my mouse to move across the monitors smoothly, it seems like windows sees both monitors as the same size since they are both the same resolution, is there any way to fix this? Also since windows thinks both monitors are the same size there is a discrepancy between moving my cursor accross monitors at the top, and the bottom of my main screen, at the middle it’s perfect and seem less, at the bottom it shoots down, and at the top it shoots up when moving to the other monitor, if anyone has any tips that would be great, thanks! 2. Dual monitors with different DPI (different resolution but same physical size)

    Hi,

I have dual monitor setup. Two monitors are the same size, but very different in resolution. To be precise, display 1 is 1440x900 (100% scale) and display 2 is 2880x1800 retina (200% scale). So they are the same size, but first display is twice as high in
    DPI as the second one.

Because of that, when I move my mouse pointer from display 1 to display 2, it's "stuck" on the edge until I move it to the bottom (depends on the layout).

Ability to change the "scale" of every individual monitor on the layout (without affecting it's resolution or element/font size) solves the problem:

Is there any other way to solve it? If no, can this feature be added to Windows 10?

Multi-monitor set up with different sizes and resolutions?

    Hi,

Running W10 1709 64-bit, and a multi-monitor setup as pictured in screenshot from display manager:

    2x27" 2560x1440 (Monitors "3" and "4")

    1x22" 1680x1050 (Monitor "2")

    and built-in laptop display:

    15.6" 1920x1080 (Monitor "1")

My problem is that my monitor manager is aware of the 4 monitors and their resolution, but not of the sizes. That is - in reality, monitor "2" is bigger than monitor "1" and the scaling between monitors is off. Dragging a window from one monitor to another
doesn't work very well as the placement is very different from what Windows thinks.

Scaling monitors to other than 100% doesn't solve my problem - Windows is still not aware of the difference in sizes. Any input is welcome.

    Thanks,

Different Window scaling with dual monitors

I'm running Windows 10 on a Dell Optiplex PC with primary monitor a Lenovo 24" 1920x1080. When I connect to my Samsung 55" 4K LED TV as a second (Extended) monitor, also @1920x1080 resolution, the wallpaper and icons scale perfectly. i.e. the 1920x1080
photo exactly fills both monitors. But when I drag any window from the Lenovo to the Samsung, it takes up a much larger portion of the Samsung screen than it does on the Lenovo. What can I do to get the two to scale the windows the same?
