Windows 10: Monitor settings

A couple weeks ago, a monitor settings box started appearing. It would sit in the middle of my screen for a minute or two and then disappear. It did it a couple times a day. Now it has appeared and won't go away.
Sometimes it's static, and sometimes the icons around the edge light up in fast sequence -- like that old game show with the Whammy. I can't click on any of the icons; the cursor goes behind this window.

None of the buttons on the monitor has any effect. Everything else is operating normally. I just have to work around a 3x3 blind spot in the middle of my monitor!

I have Windows 10, and the model number on the monitor is PL1911M, if that matters.

It has disappeared for the moment, so I can't screenshot it.)

Trouble with 2 monitors

I suggest you to change the settings to Extended Monitor and check if it helps.

Please follow below steps:

• Right Click any ware of the Desktop, and launch Personalization.
• Go to dual monitor settings under personalization, and change it Extended Monitor.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
