Windows 10: Monitor speakers don't appear

So basically, I bought a used HP VH240a monitor, which claims to have speakers to play sound. The PC also has speakers that can play sounds, but it's always annoying when the sound comes from a place far away from where I sit. It would be so much better if the sound came from the monitor, but I can't find the monitor's speakers anywhere in my settings. I even checked the disabled speakers/headphones, and it still does not appear.Also, FYI, I use an HDMI connector, not VGA so it should be able to transfer audio to the monitor's speakers.For my PC, I have an HP EliteDesk 800 G3 TWR. • Are you getting an error message/code when trying to run the dual monitors?
• Have you tried running the hardware troubleshooter?
• Have you tried running the System File Checker tool?
• What troubleshooting steps have you already performed?

To assist you better, I suggest you to answer the below questions.

• When will the sound disable, when playing through main monitor or the extended monitor?
• Did you try enabling the sound from the sound drivers and check if it helps?
• Since from when are you facing this issue?

This issue causes because the monitor automatically takes the HDMI sound as the Default input. Disable and enable the speakers and check if it helps.

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

• Right click on the volume control and then
  Properties,
• When you connect the HDMI it becomes the default output device, even though it has no speakers.
• You need to change this back to "Speakers" and set as default.

Thanks, have heard this before...is their a step by step procedure to OC using the bios settings you suggest.
i don’t intend pushing this to its limit...but some increase would be great, any suggestions on a good air cooler ?
