Windows 10: Monitor Stuck at 640x480

Discus and support Monitor Stuck at 640x480 in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; Recently acquired two MSI G271CQR monitors for my home office.     Monitor Stuck at 640x480


    Recently acquired two MSI G271CQR monitors for my home office. One monitor displays correctly at 2560x1440 but the other monitor is locked at 640x480 and the resolution option in display settings is greyed out and I'm unable to change it. I don't believe it's a driver issue since the monitors are identical and I'm unable to make any real changes without an Admin Password since it's my work PC. I've connected another computer to the display and the resolution changes to 2560x1440 so there shouldn't be a problem with the monitor itself. I've tried rebooting my computer, power cycling the display
