Windows 10: Monitor won't always wake up from power save even though Windows is not sleeping

Discus and support Monitor won't always wake up from power save even though Windows is not sleeping in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I have a new Intel Phantom Canyon NUC with Windows 11 Pro and Nvidia GPU connected to a Dell monitor.     Monitor won't always wake up from power save even though Windows is not sleeping


    I have a new Intel Phantom Canyon NUC with Windows 11 Pro and Nvidia GPU connected to a Dell monitor. I was having problems with the monitor not waking up after the NUC woke up from sleep so I have set the NUC to never sleep and monitor to sleep after 15 minutes which seemed to work for a day. Now the monitor is not always waking up after going to sleep even with the NUC never going to sleep.I have set the PCI Express/Link State Power Management to off without result. This is a new NUC and Windows shows no new updates for Windows quality updates or drivers. The GPU driver is also updated

    Monitors go into auto power save mode and wont wake up

    Hi,

    Thanks for the suggestions. I have no idea why the computer monitors go into power saving mode. The computer doesn't. I can be browsing the internet (or even playing CandyCrush haha) more or less right after booting up and the monitors go to sleep. I
    can not wake them up. I have to turn the PC off and back on again. Not so good if I am doing some work.

    Making any changes as you suggest above don't seem to do anything, there is only the mouse, keyboard and "NVIDIA nForce networking controller" listed.
