    Monitor won't go to sleep, Did a fresh install of windows 11 issue is still there, what to do?


    So the monitor just never goes to sleep, this issue is super annoying and i tried fixing it before. Being tired of it i decided to do a fresh install of windows 11 BUT THE ISSUE IS STILL FRIKKIN THERE.I've read somewhere that its a bug, but a big like this shouldn't last this long, its super weird it also persists after a reinstall. Seriously considering downgrading to windows 10

    Monitors won't go to sleep... Why?

    Some monitors need specific drivers to actually go to sleep. I had a couple Viewsonic monitors that had the same issue when using the generic Windows drivers.

    Windows won't boot back up from sleep

    Check your power settings in the BIOS. Windows 7 sleep mode works fine. I wouldn't suggest disabling it. Why have your system sucking air and spinning drive if your not using it. I have seen some issues with some input devises not allowing the system to go to sleep. But Drone mentioned it
