Windows 10: Monitors freezing, audio stopping, and peripherals turning off. Please help.

Hi, lately I have been having an issue where every now and then, my monitors freeze, my headphones stop receiving sound, my keyboard and mouse stop working, and my computer crashes every now and then. I think it happens every time that my desk shakes, but it is very inconsistent, however that is the only time I have gotten it to happen. Even right now I am shaking my table and it is not doing anything. However sometimes when I shake my table, or just when I stand up and my table shakes, it happens. I have already reseated the RAM and the Graphics card, and the 24 pin power for the mother board

To assist you better, I suggest you to answer the below questions.

• When will the sound disable, when playing through main monitor or the extended monitor?
• Did you try enabling the sound from the sound drivers and check if it helps?
• Since from when are you facing this issue?

This issue causes because the monitor automatically takes the HDMI sound as the Default input. Disable and enable the speakers and check if it helps.

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

• Right click on the volume control and then
  Properties,
• When you connect the HDMI it becomes the default output device, even though it has no speakers.
• You need to change this back to "Speakers" and set as default.

How To Change Monitor Audio To Motherboard Audio

In order to get clarity on this issue and assist you with appropriate troubleshooting steps, please reply with the answers to the questions below.

1. Do you want to use your external speakers for the audio instead of the monitor speakers?
2. Are you hearing the audio both from your external speakers and the monitor speakers?

Meanwhile, you may try the below steps to change the playback device and check if this helps.

1. Select on the Start button > Type Sound in the search box > Select
   Sound from the list of results.
2. Go to Playback tab > Select your Sound System Device that you want to hear the audio from > Then click on
   Set Default.
3. Restart the computer once and check if this helps.

• What is the exactly issue you are facing with audio and how exactly are you trying to access it?
• What exactly do you mean by: Have windows 10, and suddenly my audio stopped?
• Have you made any changes to the operating system, prior to this issue?

I suggest you to install all the pending updates and audio drivers and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to update the audio drivers from Device Manager and check.

Steps:

• 
  Right click on the Start
  button from the desktop and select Device Manager.
  
• 
  Expand Audio inputs and outputs, right click on
  High Definition Audio Device and click on Update driver software.
  
• 
  Also, try to search for the drivers with the help of model number of your computer from the Manufacturer’s website and install them.
  

Step 2: I suggest you to install all the pending updates after upgrade to Windows 10.

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.
