    Monitors giving me device not migrated for the 2nd time in 2 weeks. Help!


    I came home to a non functioning monitor giving me this codeMonitors giving me device not migrated for the 2nd time in 2 weeks. Help! :Device DISPLAY\ACR03DF\5&133b9472&0&UID4864 was not migrated due to partial or ambiguous match.Last Device Instance Id: DISPLAY\SKY9001\5&133b9472&0&UID4353Class Guid: {4d36e96e-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}Location Path: Migration Rank: 0xF000FFFF0000F100Present: falseStatus: 0xC0000719Now, everything sees it as acer. NVIDIA, in the control panel, sees it as the Acer G237HL. No idea what the SKY9001 is its detecting. Tried the drivers. did the scannow command. Frustration.

    Monitor connected to laptop: Device not migrated

    Thank you for your suggestion. I've tried the ways in the link but still no luck. My problem is my laptop can detect my monitor correctly but there is a event "Device not migrated" , I guess there is no signal received by the monitor.

    • What changes did you make in the BIOS? As making the changes in the BIOS is only recommended by Microsoft if done by the manufacturer.
    • How are you connecting to the 2nd monitor?

    Windows 10 is Resetting/Glitching with 2nd Monitor

    We understand how you feel about the situation. We're sorry for the trouble.

    Method1: I suggest you to change the monitor setting make the 2 monitor primary and 1 monitor secondary and check if that helps.

    Press Windows + P to make the changes.

    Method 2: Update the graphic driver and check if that helps.

    Follow the steps to update the graphic driver.

    • Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.
    • Expand Display Adapter and Select Graphic.
    • Right-click on the Graphic and click on Update driver software.
    • Restart the computer and check.
