Monthly "Second notice" email demanding parental consent that I've already given

My kids accounts are stuck in a loop where I get a "Second Notice: Take action to update <Kids Name> account" email every month. The email says, "If you don’t provide consent confirmation for <Kids Name> by October 25, 2023, they’ll no longer be able to sign in to their Microsoft account. Sign-in attempts will prompt your child to seek the required parental consent."I have provided my consent every month since these emails started in July, and yet I still get notified once a month that I need to provide consent or else.

    :)

Microsoft keeps asking to confirm parental consent for my child but I've already given it twice

Microsoft keeps asking to confirm parental consent for my child but I've already done it. I already provided parental consent twice now and in the family safety app I can see 'remove consent' for my child's account, so consent has been given.

However, weeks after giving it, I still get a notice to confirm parental consent for my child. "Second notice: Take action to update account". I don't want my childs' account to get deleted: Yes, I have provided consent. Why is this not working?

  3. How to confirm parental consent

Hi! I received an email from what looks to be Microsoft Family Safety that says I need to log into my account to provide parental consent for one of my kids. Since you can never be too safe these days with unsolicited emails, I logged into my Microsoft account on my own, not through the link in the email, but I see nothing in my account or family account asking for parental consent. The email says my child's account will be suspended, and then permanently deleted if I don't confirm consent in the next 2 months. If this is real, where do I confirm parental consent?

Edit the parent consent email in my child's microsoft account

Hello. The parent consent email in my child's Microsoft account is spelled incorrectly (ie *** Email address is removed for privacy *** - 2 "L"'s). When they need consent to purchase or install something, the request goes nowhere. Short of deleting their entire account is there any way to fix this? Bonus question: wouldn't this be a reaaaaallllly obvious easy thing for a parent to fix in Microsoft Family? You would thinks so.

I've already given permission!: I had trouble with the family feature.
