    More 1803 bugs - video card no longer works after 1709


    Upto 1709 System worked fine with Nvidia hd560ti video card. After 1803 we got page fault blue screens. If we removed the Nvidia driver (in safe mode & using DDU), system was fine with default M$ driver.. We replaced the Nvidia card with a Radeon HD 7950 card, installed the AMD drivers and it also works fine. So no actual bug other than 1803.

    The 1803 upgrade has caused so many problems, M$ should really provide an option so that we do NOT have to have these upgrades. M$ reputation with Win10 and its current system of 6 monthly upgrades is madness, as each one potentially causes more problems.

    Whats the best way for users to voice their opinion of the current update system so that M$ can take this issue more seriously than they are?

    Thank you for trying to help , i did tried your suggestion but it did not work :/ , nothing seems to make it work on Windows 10 Fall Creators Update 1709. In the meantime i have bought a new SoundBlasterX AE-5 and it did installed flawlessly , no problems whatsoever. it is up to Creative ( drivers ) and Microsoft ( bug fix ) to fix this huge bugs with Audio.

    If everything is working for you on the version you are running currently and next Windows version does NOT bring anything new, relevant or imperative to your workflow, you should wait with the upgrade at least 3 months, preferably 6 months. 1803 contains quite a few bugs and glitches still. I'm still waiting for a few bug fixes, but all they have come up with is fixing HoloLens, which I currently have absolutely no use of. And the full HL experience is still very buggy (still has a lot of known issues), so there's still a lot to fix.

    1709 is very stable and reliable.

    Hi,
    Indeed nothing more than more bloat bugs in 1803 so unless you have 2 different drives to use both on stick with 1709 for a while More 1803 bugs - video card no longer works after 1709 :)
