Windows 10: More than 2 user login in Windows Datacenter Enterprise edition OS

Hello,I am working in Data center and here we are using windows data center enterprise edition OS . So, I have one doubt ,can we login one server with more than 2 users in this edition. Any help will be appreciated

Windows users at login

I cannot see all of my user accounts on the login screen on a new Windows 10 laptop. I have an account for my son and it does not appear as a user on the login screen. It is listed if I display the users with the CMD prompt. The only account I see is my
account which is an admin. His account is a user. All the suggestions I've seen are not available on home edition.

 

Windows Datacenter and VMs

Hi there,

We just got a new Dell Server with Windows Server 2019 Datacenter Edition.

My question is how to install VMs with Windows 2019 Standard edition? The ISO from Dell is only for Datacenter edition.

Can I download the Standard evaluation from Microsoft, and activate it? Or is it OK to install all VMs as DC edition?

What are the best practices here?

Windows Datacenter or Windows Standard version on VMs

Yes that statement is true because Datacenter comes with unlimited VM licenses where Standard only has 2 VM licenses.

So the host server would be best as Datacenter for the unlimited VM licenses.

But when it comes to building VMs on the host server you can use either.

But it is cheaper to have the VMs as Standard to license.
