I have gone through many forums to fix this but cannot find any solution that works. I was playing a game, alt tabbed, then suddenly the game froze and crashed. From then on, all games, and apps such as device manager, Bitdefender still runs in background, msconfig and other windows apps will not open or open for a short period of time then close, and these are involved in many solutions to problems, so I cannot use them. Please could someone tell me how to fix this? I also cannot uninstall many apps, like bitdefender, as their uninstall program windows close as well.

Xbox App Crashes on launch in windows 10

There are no error messages. The xbox logo shows then the app crashes shortly afterward without another word. As for changes to the computer, none besides the latest updates.

This computer is brand new, just unboxed, so this is the first computer this has happened to for me. And its connected to a wireless network.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
