Windows 10: Most of my icons are the paper logo?

Most of my icons are the paper logo. It used to be the latter photo with internet explorer, after which I uninstalled it from my PC to be left with the same thing, but no internet explorer logo. I do not know what to do from here please help. Normal icons show when searching in the windows start menu, it is only on my desktop where this happens.

Taskbar not showing proper icon logo

Hello, I had synced my computers and that might’ve played a factor with this but I am not sure. How can I make sure the right logos appear on the taskbar. I have telegram opened and I can see it in the taskbar but it’s not telegram logo but paper/text icon. How can I make sure the icon is displayed? Not all apps are like this

Desktop Shortcut Icons

The desktop shortcut created for a specific website should bear the website's actual logo. With what you've experienced, there could be something wrong with how the shortcut was created.

If you've created the shortcut by selecting Create shortcut, then we suggest that you try the other way, that is by dragging the website icon that appears in the address bar to your desktop. Follow these steps:

• Using Internet Explorer, access a website.
• Once the website opens, you will see its icon in the address bar.
• Click and drag the icon on your desktop.

The website shortcut bearing its actual logo should now be saved on your desktop.
