Windows 10: most of my ram are allocated at hardware reserved

Greetings, recently I've encounted this problem, and noticed that my pc was running slow, I thought that having apps running at the background was the problem, unfortunately not. My pc that has 8gb ram installed can only use up to 3.4gb of ram when not so long ago it can use up to 6gb of ram which I think is normal based on some research. I've already tried tweaking at msconfig, changing paging file, also tried looking for total graphics memory at my bios, but sadly wasn't able to locate that. Can't seem to upload images for some reason.

Windows 10 1903 - Large Amounts of Hardware Reserved RAM

Hi all,

Are there any documented cases of the Windows 10 1903 build allocating large amounts of hardware reserved RAM?

I have an 8GB HP Envy x360, but it says that 2.1GB RAM is hardware reserved.

Having spoken with HP and tried to troubleshoot using msconfig and checking the BIOS, they have advised me that it is a Windows issue.





Any suggestions?
