Windows 10: Most taskbar items get lost and windows not responding after installing KB5014699

Hi guys,after installation of KB5014699, my computer doesn't respond to clicks any longer, no menu can be opened and most of the taskbar items are lost.If I uninstall KB5014699, everything works fine again.I had a very similar issue some months ago. I delayed the updates, to keep my system working but at some point I couldn't delay new updates any longer, so I had to reinstall windows again. It took me several weeks until everything has been reinstalled and configured, so I don't have time for the same procedure.All help is much appreciated.Thanks,Kind regards

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
