Windows 10: Most Thumbnails Stopped Displaying

I have an extensive MP4 movie collection. Every movie file has been tagged with movie information, including the coverart. Until this past week, when I open the movie folder, the movie covers are displayed. After the last Windows Update KB5007186 OS Builds 19041.1348, 19042.1348, and 19043.1348, most mp4 files will not show the movie cover. Whats REALLY odd is that a few will show. I dont' know if the update is responsible, or if there's another reason.I've done my homework & peformed the suggested fixes:I've checked File Explorer options and make sure that the box that says "Always show

Many thanks for you reply. I have done all the steps you suggested, but no change,

When I open a folder containing photos, some open correctly but the vast majority open with thumbnails, but they very quickly get overwritten and you can not longer see the thumbnails.

Are there any more suggestions?

Follow the steps provided below to turn Thumbnails on/off:

• Open File Explorer.
• In the Menu bar, click on View and then Options.
• In the View tab, uncheck/check the option for “Display file icon on thumbnails” to disable/enable thumbnails.

I did steps that you mention above, but a problem is the same; Some pictures are still displayed as thumbnail and some still are icons.
