Windows 10: Motherboard Ethernet adapter showing as disconnected in device manager Code 45

I am using the Gigabyte b550M D3SH UD AC motherboard in my computer and I recently had a case switch, around this time I noticed my pc was being connected to wifi and not ethernet and when I checked the network options, ethernet is completely gone.The network connections page in control panel doesn't list my ethernet adapter either. I assume this might also be caused from me starting to use NextDNS around this time as well, since I changed my dns settings manually systemwide.My control panel device manager however lists the ethernet adapter ONLY when I clicked View > Show hidden.The adapter

Device Manager Code 45 - Xbox Wireless Adapter

I disabled the device for my Xbox One Wireless Adapter, listed as "USB Input Device" in my Device Manager. Restarted my computer and went back into my device manager to re-enable the device. However, the device didn't show up. When I select "Show Hidden
Drivers", I can see the device, but I can't enable it, it gives me a Code 45, saying the device isn't connected. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting the device via the usb port and the Device Manager blinks like it recognizes something has been connected,
but it still says the device isn't connected. I've tried restarting my computer and shutting it down completely and turning it back on and it still says it's not connected. What should I do to fix this?

Step 1:

Go to Device Manager → Network adapters.
Step 2:

Expand it (Network adapters).


Step 3:

Select your network adapter


Step 4:

Right click on your wireless network adapter or Ethernet adapter and then tap “Update Driver Software”.
(in this case your network adopter is Ethernet adopter so tap your Ethernet adapter)
Step 5:

Now on a new window you will need to click on “Browse my computer for driver software”.




Step 6:

Then select “Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer”.



Step 7:

Now choose the “Manufacturer’s drivers” from the list of two and then click next.



Step 8:

After the completion of the process just restart your PC and check if the problem is solved or not. If not, goto solution 2.

Step 1:

Open command prompt.
Step 2:

Just go on hitting the enter after typing the each command.
netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disable
netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled
Step 3:

Now to check if the settings are disabled type:
netsh int tcp show global
then hit enter.
Step 4:

Now the thing left is just rebooting your system and just check if the problem is solved or not and just give feedback.*chuckle*Thumbs
