  1. Motherboard going bad?

I have a 200Mbps connection to my ISP. I have a specific machine that is getting only about 25 Mbps through the onboard network adapter or through the onboard wifi adapter. That machine is fully up-to-date on Windows updates and network adapter and wifi drivers. I get the same slow speeds even in safe mode with networking. I have run Malawarebytes, Avast, and Defender and none of them find anything. I also reset the TCP/IP stack to no avail. I took another similar machine and connected it to the CAT5 cable for that machine. I was able to get ~180 Mbps. It's there anything in missing is it s

Daily BSOD. Trying to Determine if Bad RAM, SSD, Motherboard, or Other

The odds of both RAM sticks being faulty are tiny, but you have said "both sticks have failed tests", and that might suggest it's some other hardware problem - the motherboard for example. Is the RAM you have on the motherboard's QVL list for example? It certainly appears that those two RAM sticks don't work in that board. Are you on the latest BIOS?

  3. Choice of memory and motherboard... a bit stuck...

No one who got some suggestions on this one, huh?

I've found out that the Asus M3A78-T needs to be flashed, so then that motherboard is excluded from my list. Which motherboard and memory should I then go for? Any suggestions?
