Windows 10: Motherboard realteck audio alc888b/889, can not install anything but microsoft driver

Motherboard Realtek audio alc888b/889, can not install anything but Microsoft driverI have downloaded it from the gigabyte product page and from Realtek directly, the prosses completes, restart the PC, but windows 10 installs a generic HD audio driver that does not detect anything connected to it or have any options to configure the sound card.I was in a video chat on 2/28/2023 and the other person on the other end could not hear me and found the Realtek driver was replaced with a none working Microsoft driver.0009-64bit_Win7_Win8_Win81_Win10_R282.exe Device name DESKTOP-C7MSO9M Processor AMD

i have a problem with microsoft store not downloading realteck audio control

i get this error code 0x803FB005 i dont know if it is because i don't have a mic or speakersi use hdmi cord because i use tv as monitor for my pc and its audio drivers are amd and realteck high definition audio also my pc has msi motherboard b350/a320
bazooka with windows 10 i never had a mis account untill i made one yesterday and i just want my drivers, programs , and utility's all installed correctly and msi live update 6 didn't install the bluetooth drivers and intel wifi drivers didn't install completely
i downloaded them from intel website instead and it said realteck hd audio drivers installed but it doesn't work and i wanted to see if installing realteck audio would fix it but i can't install it because of this error code 0x803FB005 please help.

I installed the RealTec driver first. Then the Microsoft driver installed itself second. I had sound for system events and games. My troubles occurred with streaming media and any "player". I noticed that after I removed and installed the drivers, my media players would work. I found by accident that opening device manage and disabling (not removing) the Microsoft HD audio driver then immediately enabling it allowed my media players to work. I think that changing the loading order, ie. Realteck first then Microsoft second will solve the problem. I don't know how to do this. Any help with changing driver loading order would help.

I’ll try booting into Safe Mode and downloading new drivers. But part of the problem is figuring out which driver is the issue.

You suggest “Update the sound driver from the PC maker's Support Downloads webpage for your exact model,” but I don’t have a PC maker, as I build the system myself from pieces.
So should I go to the Motherboard maker’s site? Or maybe the graphic card maker’s site?

Device Manager shows 4 items under Sound, Video and Game Controllers.
I’m guessing the issue is not with the Schiit controller or the Intel Display Audio.
So that leaves AMD High Definition Audio Device and High Definition Audio Device.
I can’t tell which one is at issue. Neither says Realtek anywhere.
Maybe somewhere in the long list of Details on each driver there’s something that ties to the error message, but I haven’t found it.
Is there somewhere I should look? Also, sometimes there are two rather than one AMD High Definition Audio Device shown here.

Device Manager also now shows 4 High Definition Audio Controllers under System Devices.
The number shown here also varies. As is usual since I rebooted sometime recently, one of them shows that it’s disabled.
Here’s what shows on the driver properties for each:

Microsoft – PCI bus 0, device 27, function 0

Microsoft – PCI bus 2, device 0, function 1 (disabled - Code 22)

Microsoft – PCI bus 0, device 3, function 0

Microsoft – PCI bus 1, device 0, function 1

Is it correct to assume that the PCI bus 1 and 2 controllers relate to the two graphics cards?
If so, then I’d assume the disabled one relates to the AMD High Definition Audio Device above.

There are also 3 items under Audio Inputs and Outputs. A Speakers item, which seems tied to Schiit, plus two Digital Audio (S/PDIF) (High Definition Audio Device) items.
Both say they come from Microsoft.
