Windows 10: mouse acting up on win 10 on MAC when connected to external monitor

Hi,

I have this weird problem whenever I connect my macbook pro to an external monitor. I'm running Windows 10 Pro. The problem occurs only when I close the laptop's lid. The mouse starts acting up, it applies clicks randomly. Perhaps even stranger is that it stops doing it after 5 to 10 minutes. On the other hand, if the lid is open and I work on both screens, then it acts normally.

Do you have any idea where to start from if I want to troubleshooting this problem?

Automatically change scaling and other preferences based on the display you're using

Having an issue with display scaling on Windows 10 because I use a macbook retina 15 inch with bootcamp and windows 10 so I have to set the scaling to 200% or higher to see stuff on the screen. The mouse is also slow on this resolution so I have to bump
the mouse sensitivity up as well. The problem is that I also use an external monitor that is 1080p so I use 125% scaling instead of 225% scaling on that monitor. If I connect the laptop to the external monitor it uses the 225% settings and the mouse settings
I put it for the laptop so that doesn't work. Is there a way to have profiles or something that automatically switch display scaling and preferences depending on which display you're using? When using mac osx if I plug into the external monitor it automatically
adjusts everything so the screen resolution is right and it works.

 

Windows 10 not putting windows back on external monitor

I have a brand new HP Spectre x360 with Win 10. I connect an external monitor through HDMI and extend the display to it. When I wake up the laptop from sleep all the windows I had positioned on the external monitor are now on the laptop screen.

My old Win 7 laptop did not have that problem. I guess it woke up the external monitor earlier, whereas Win 10 tries to restore the windows before the external monitor has responded and therefore decides it's not there and puts the windows on the laptop
screen.

This is extremely annoying as I have to reposition several windows every time I open the lid, i.e. about 10 times per day.

Is there hope that this can be fixed?
