I have a Logitech mouse that nowadays, whenever I play a game and either left-click or scroll the mouse wheel, begins acting crazy. For example, when I click on something, it acts like its rapidly left-clicking. Similarly, when I scroll the mouse wheel up or down, it scrolls up and down alternately.

    :)

Mouse Problem - scroll wheel on steroids!

    Hi,

There may be several reasons why your mouse started acting this way after the update. We suggest you try to run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter to assist you in resolving this issue. Kindly follow the steps below:

    • Type “Troubleshooting” in the Search bar and press Enter.
    • Click on “View All” in the top left corner.
    • This will display the list of troubleshooters which are built-in in the computer. You can click on
Hardware and Devices from the list and you can run the troubleshooter.

If the issue persists, the next step is to update your mouse driver. You can click on this article for the steps on how to

    Bluetooth mouse still freezes

    Hello,

There are multiple possibilities why a Bluetooth mouse could act up. To assist you with your concern, you can try these following steps:

    Method 1:

Check if the Bluetooth mouse and its Bluetooth adapter are working properly.

    • Try installing fresh new batteries.
    • Try to unplug the Bluetooth adapter of your mouse and plug it back in.
    • Try connecting the Bluetooth adapter of your mouse to a different USB port.
    • Try to remove objects that can interfere with the signal of your Bluetooth adapter and mouse.

    Method 2:

Check if you have installed all the updates on your computer. There are chances that you might get Bluetooth drivers through update:

    • Go to the Start screen.
    • Type Windows update and click on it from the list of results.
    • Click on Check for updates on the left pane in the new window.

We also suggest that you try to contact the manufacturer of the Bluetooth mouse for other options.

We will wait for your response.

    Regards.

External keyboard keys not working properly (ctrl, alt, windows) + drop down menus acting crazy

Hello, Everyday for two months now, I boot my new windows 10 laptop to find the same bugs, I've believe they are all connected. I hope you guys can help me!

    • The windows key in my external keyboard stop working suddenly, the same thing happens with the on screen keyboard but I can still use the windows key from my laptop keyboard.
    • The ALT key closes opened apps and prompts the windows shut down shortcut (same on the on screen keyboard), the laptop keyboard is ok.
    • Any application with a visible drop down menu starts acting crazy and becomes unselectable with a mouse, most common example is file explorer for me.

    • My external keyboard is a bluetooth model but since these problems started I can't use wired mouses (cursor becomes unreliable) and wired keyboards (they have the same issues of the bluetooth keyboard). My current mouse a plug in usb one. One of my usb ports is currently unstable and desconnects flash drives etc but the other two ports seem fine. When I desconnect/reconnect the mouse usb plug all of these issues stop for a few seconds or minutes and start again. And these issues can happen without the mouse plug also.
I have deleted/reinstaled usb ports drivers and keyboard drivers on Device manager. Couldn't find an troubleshooter option for usb ports but ran the bluetooth, keyboard and windows update troubleshooters. Tried system file checker. Deleted/reinstaled drivers for usb keyboard and plug mouse. Tested with others wired/wireless keyboard and mouses. Couldn't find a solution.

I need the external keyboards and mouses everyday. These issues are constant and used to last for hours. Last week I updated to Windows 11 and now happens for a shorter period of time, no more than 30 minutes but come and go all day. And drives me crazy.

    Thanks in advance.
