    Mouse and Keyboard Center, Device Information gets values of "Unknown"


    I have the Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo, and it functions OK.However, when checking the context of "Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center > Support > Device information", the pop up displays values of "Unknown" in the columns of Serial Number, and Firmware Version.Question:I wonder if there is something wrong with my setting, and how to recover it.Especially, I hope to rule out the possibility of any virus or hacker activity damaged the firmware or the USB dongle the USB Dual Receiver. To be safe, it will be great if we have a way to overwrite the firmware

    Mouse not visible in Mouse and Keyboard Center

    I use Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard and Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse, The first is visible in Mouse and Keyboard Center, but not the mouse. The mouse
    does work, however one of the reasons I have chosen this particular mouse is the additional settings in Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center, which I cannot use.

    I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center. No improvement.

    The mouse is on the list of supported devices and I'm surprised by this issue as I have never heard such a problem before. It is my second Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse.

    Microsoft mouse and keyboard center with macro the home key fails

    In Microsoft mouse and keyboard center when I did a macro and tried record the home key fail. I have Windows 10 Home 1809 and Microsoft mouse and keyboard center 12.181.137.0 but it is a failure that I repeat at many computers with many mouses and so.

    Replacing intellitype in MS Mouse and Keyboard Center

    Hi Hans,

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

    To have a better clarity on the issue and guide you accordingly, kindly help us with the following information.

    • Which version of Windows is installed on the machine?
    (Search winver from the Start menu to know the same)

    • Does your new Precision Mouse not work on IntelliPoint 7.0?

    You may want to download
    IntelliPoint 7.0 Mouse Software for Windows x64     and see if the mouse works fine. If it does, you may use the keyboard and mouse using the same. If it doesn't, I would suggest
    you to upgrade your keyboard as it is no longer supported with newer versions of MS Keyboard and Mouse Centre.

    Which devices are supported by Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Centre?
