Windows 10: Mouse and Keyboard stops working when large amount of space in disk HHD or HDD whatever it...

Hello! my mouse and keyboard suddenly stops working whenever it wants to, it only happens when I have large amount of files stored in a disk, my hardrive is 250GB Seagate, i had like occupied 137GB out of 143GB on one compartment, it had large amount of game files like Warthunder etc, when i turn off pc for a period of time the problem gets solved but after half an hour problem starts again.Solutions I tried :Replug usbReinstall windows 10TroubleshootingUpdating driverMy system specs evice name DESKTOP-3LEE1FV Processor IntelR CoreTM2 Duo CPU E7400 @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHz Installed RAM

Wired Keyboard and Mouse Stop Working - Windows 10
I have an old Dell Studio that is running windows 10 ---

Ir has Windows 10 and SSD installed - to me it does what it needs to do but this darn mouse and keyboard stuff stopping working with no rhyme or reason is making me very frustrated.

Keyboard and Mouse are wired - NOT WIRELESS

• I cannot easily unplug and plug in the mouse/keyboard to get it going again... they are still lit up but they are dead basically and I have to do a hard reset.
  
• USB selective suspend is disabled.
• I checked the drivers for the keyboard and mouse and they are updated.
• I checked to see if PC has KB4074588 and it does not.

I am not sure what else to do.... I can go days without the issue and then days where anytime I step away from the PC it stops working.

I can say when it is working it just does not just stop ... only when I walk away and the machine is idle or the screen is locked.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Wireless Mouse stops working when external HDD plugged in to USB3 port

I have a minor but annoying problem and can't find a solution....

My wireless mouse stops working when an external USB3 HDD is plugged in to USB3 port. The mouse is about 3 feet away from the receiver.

My mouse is a Logitech M310.

• I don't have the problem if a USB 2 external HDD is connected to either a USB2 or USB3 port.
• I have moved the mouse receiver to different ports on both the front and back of the computer but this doesn't change anything.
• If I move the mouse very close to the receiver (a couple of inches), it works so it seems that the wireless range is reduced when the USB3 HDD is plugged in.
• If I connect a wired mouse, it works fine.
• I have 2 USB3 ports and the problem is the same on both.
• If the USB3 HDD is connected to a USB2 port, the mouse works normally.
• I changed the battery in the mouse but this didn't help.
• the USB3 HDD is a WD Passport that is self powered through the USB port.

Any suggestions?
