Windows 10: Mouse arrow disappear using power sleeping

I had report this problem about a month ago, and i got an answer which didn't solve the problem. Recently I update my Windows 10 Pro to Ver. 21H1Os build 19043.1081 but the problem remains. Description: I use a couple of programs open for the job I do. So instead of close and reopen the programs I use the Power Sleep options. I set the monitor to 3 min and the Hard disk to 5 min to sleep. Next time i want to use my computer I just press a key on keyboard or move the mouse and then the screen has the programs I use, open in the same position as I left, but the mouse arrow is missing.As you c

The issue that you are facing might occur due to some reasons like faulty settings or any third party settings etc. Hence to troubleshoot your issue, please refer the below methods:



Method 1:

I would suggest you to make sure “Put the computer to sleep and Turn off the display” option is set to
“Never”.



Follow these steps:

a. Press “windows key + W” from the keyboard.

b. Type “Edit power plan” without quotes in the search box and hit
enter.

c. Then click the drop down arrow next to “Turn off the display” and select “Never”.

d. Then click the drop down arrow next to “Put the computer to sleep” and select “never”.

e. Then click on “Save changes”. And close the Window.

f. Then check if this fixes the issue.



Method 2:



I would suggest you to run “power” troubleshooter to diagnose the exact issue.



Follow these steps:

a. Press “Windows key + W” from your keyboard.

b. Type “troubleshooting” without quotes in the search box and hit enter.

c. Select “View all” option from the left panel.

d. Select “Power” and follow the on-screen instructions.



Method 3:



Follow the below steps if you are unable to wake the computer using mouse:



The Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power setting controls how the keyboard and mouse is handled when the computer enters sleep and can be used if a driver misrepresents how it handles sleep states. When this setting is checked (enabled),
Windows puts the device to sleep and when it resumes it puts it back toD0. When this setting is not checked (disabled), Windows completely halts the device and on resume reinitializes it.



a) Open Device Manager by swiping in from the right edge of the screen,
tapping Search (or if you're using a mouse, pointing to the
upper-right corner of the screen, moving the mouse pointer down, and then clicking Search), entering
Device Manager in the search box, tapping or clicking Settings, and then
tapping or clicking Device Manager.‌ You might be asked for an admin password or to confirm your choice.

b) Then right click on "keyboard" and "mouse" drivers on at a time. After that, click on "Properties" and choose "Power Management" tab. Uncheck the option which says "Allow the computer to
turn off this device to save power".

Windows 10 Power Options Sleep mode does not wake

By pressing any key on the keyboard, clicking the mouse button, or opening the lid (if using a laptop), you should be able to wake up your computer from sleep. If you are having trouble doing such, we suggest that you perform the following to automatically
restore your power settings:

• Click Start > Settings > System.
• Go to Power & sleep, then click Additional power settings.
• Click the Change plan settings under your power plan.
• Click Restore default settings for this plan.
• Click Yes to confirm.

We also recommend that you run the Power troubleshooter by following the steps below:

• Type Troubleshooting in Cortana, the search box on your task bar.
• Click on View All on the left panel.
• Click Power, then follow the on screen instructions.

This is an built-in tool which will help you find and fix issue that pertains to your power or hardware settings.

For issues with sleep mode and power options follow the steps provided below.

Run the Power troubleshooter and check.

Follow the steps to run the troubleshooter:

• Open Control Panel.
• Type Troubleshooting in search and click
  Troubleshooting.
• Now type Power in the search option.
• Click on Power troubleshooter to run.

I would suggest you to try updating the Display driver and check if the issue persists. If you already have all the latest drivers from Windows updates, then I would suggest you to visit the computer manufacturer's website, download and install the latest
drivers in compatibility mode and check.
