Windows 10: Mouse auto scrolling

I have looked through a lot of places trying to find the answer to this question and no one has been able to get the right thing to work. The problem is that when I am in Windows or Microsoft related apps or even on the home bar I will be auto scrolling, I do not have any app that would cause that to happen installed. I tried playing Minecraft but I would be scrolling down without actually physically doing making it unable to play and on the start panel it is hard to click on a app or game as the auto scroll is taking me away from doing so. If I could get some help with this that would be much appreciated as I have been looking for a solution for the past few weeks. Another problem is that with drop down menus I can not click on them as they disappear before they can be clicked on so I have to spam the drop down menu then type in the thing I am trying to click on. I do not know if those two problems are related but I am hoping that I can get an answer for both.

New Mouse Not in Device Manager: Auto Scroll Not Working?

I checked the control panel. It lists the receiver but not the mouse. Will getting Setpoint fix that? Also, any idea about the middle mouse button thing.

 

How do I change scroll direction of a mouse NOT listed under Mice?

Thanks; yes, those are great directions and did work to change the direction of the wired mouse that came with the computer. But the mouse I'm using doesn't show up as a mouse in the hardware list, so I can't follow the rest of those steps. I need the mouse to appear on the list of mice in order to complete this sequence.

 

mouse scrolling

Running Win 10 and recently auto scrolling on mouse & touchpad started (don't know what I did for that), can't get it to stop. In Control Panel - Mouse (or Device Manager), no device settings or options for scrolling listed anywhere. How do I get it to stop?
