  1. Mouse became inactive after computer went into standby mode

I was installing a game from the windows store and while I was passing the time my computer when into stand by mode and the light in my logitech G502 hero mouse went out. I repluged it back into my keyboard which still had it's lights active but nothing so I had to hard reboot. This hadn't happened before and my computer is fine know but what else could I have done? I looked up device manager and turn off device to save power was greyed out so I couldn't select it. I suspect this was some sort of fluke for I once booted up my computer and my keyboard was inactive but my mouse was and one restart later and it was fine. Over all what should I do if this ever happens again?

    :)

Mouse became inactive after computer went into standby mode

Erratic standby behaviour in spite of settings...

Thanks roy111, but my problem is that the computer goes into standby almost immediately instead of after 45 (or 30) minutes of inactivity as it has been programmed to do. There is no problem waking it up from standby with the mouse or keyboard.
