    Mouse buttons keep swapping left-right


    On all my Windows computers running Windows 10 and 11, with 3 different mice, I have a problem with my mouse buttons swapping the primary button. It used to only happen after a Windows update, but now it happens much more often, often in the middle of work. I must reset it then in the Windows/Bluetooth & Devices/Settings/Mouse app.This is especially annoying on one machine where I have subsystem for linux installed, since the buttons stay fixed there.Any ideas?Thanks,Jim

    I have a left-handed mouse and i want to switch buttons left/right.

    However when i do that in mouse options, left/right buttons on my touchpad are changed as well !! i don't want to change them.

    I want to swap buttons only for one device, how to do it ?

    I have a DECUS gaming mouse. It has started to swap the right click button and the left click button. I have downloaded the software for the mouse and swapped the keys there, however it did not work. I have looked around on the internettet and there seems

    Swap Mouse Button Resets After Reboot

    Hi,

    When you say swap button, is it swapping the left and right click? It's already built in to Windows 10 Creators update. Just go to
    Start > Settings > Devices >
    Mouse    . Change the Select your primary
    button to Right.

    To do this in your current mouse, we suggest uninstalling the mouse driver, reboot your PC to restore generic drivers then change your primary button.
