Windows 10: Mouse click only click! does not work on login screen

Hello,I have a PC where mouse clicks do not work on the login screen. The mouse pointer is there, it moves, and the things I move it over react to it background color. When I click the mouse, however, nothing happens. This affects everything on the login screen, such as the last user names in the left corner, the shutdown etc. buttons in the right corner, the "show password" eye in the password field, etc.After logging on, everything is fine again.This happens with several different mice and it happens after starting the PC from off, after restarting, and after logout. Mouse doesn't work at login screen after W10 conversion

I would suggest you to run the hardware troubleshooter and check.

Try these steps to run the troubleshooter:

• 
  Type troubleshooting in the search bar.
  
• 
  Click view all in the left panel.
  
• 
  Select ‘Hardware and devices' and follow the on-screen instructions.
  

I would suggest you to update the mouse drivers from the manufacturer's site and check if the issue persist or you may also check your PC for windows updates and install al pending updates.

Windows 10 Login Screen - Not recognizes any keyboard and mouse

Windows 10 Login Screen not recognizes to ANY keyboard and mouse (both wired and wireless) but when power up to start up and the keyboard is working fine before login screen.

BUT - I am able to enter BIOS (keyboard working fine) and Acer Recovery Program (pressed by ALT + F10) and both keyboard and mouse working fine.

ONLY Login Screen not working where I have to type in password to unlock screen, however the keyboard’s number lock light went off when got on that screen, before that - it was light on while I am on BIOS and Recovery Program.

This not even make sense.

However, I tried those list.

• System restore (failed third times).
• Refresh PC (failed).
• Startup Repair (failed).
• Tried go on safe mode but keyboard and mouse not recognizing.
• I tried unplug both usb and restart without it until login screen open and reconnect both keyboard and mouse, still not recognizing.

I tried everything, seem nothing work at the login screen.

Any advice?

What exactly is your PC model and manufacturer?

If it's a desktop, what exactly is the model and manufacturer of the motherboard?

Before answering this question I suggest you access the PC's Bios;

When accessing the Bios press the F9 key to reset all the Bios settings;

Press F10 key to save and exit;

Unplug the keyboard and mouse and plug them in again;

Turn on the PC and check if the peripherals work on the login screen;
