    Mouse cursor changing to circle randomly and often while on desktop and using browser


    Hello. I own a new, manufactured in 2020, Windows 10 laptop computer.My mouse cursor randomly changes into a circle often, distracting me during browser gaming and is all around annoying. I have tried opening the task manager to see what process or processes are running while this happens, but the cursor circle usually only lasts less than 1 second. The only thing i have noticed moving to the top of the processes list during the cursor change is possibly antimalware service executable, or runtime broker service but i am not exactly sure what is causing the cursor to change into a circle so o

    Spinning blue circle on mouse cursor

    I have two problems in windows 10 which are likely connected. Today I tried to access my firewall settings to allow a website to be bypassed. When I clicked on "Firewall and network protection" nothing opened up. However, I now have a flashing blue circle
    on my mouse cursor. I have tried rebooting but this didn't help. I presume something has happened regarding the firewall, but I can't access it to turn it off or change the settings. As I am not a techie, please be kind and answer using step by step or non-technical
    language.
