Mouse cursor getting over-exposed after turning OFF HDR.

I got this error today morning when I tried to turn ON and OFF HDR option in the settings.I thought if it is some driver related issue. So I installed the latest version. But the issue still exists. The cursor become normal when,- dragging and moving a window.- when I turn ON "display pointer trail" in Mouse Properties- when there is some full screen overlay, live the Game Bar.I am on Windows 11, Version 23H2, OS build 22631.3007

    :)

  2. HDR Mouse cursor not changing, difficult to see

So without HDR enabled if I move the mouse cursor from a dark area to a white area, such as this text box or a notepad, the cursor automatically changes from a white arrow with a outline to a black capital I icon making it easy to see.

When I enable HDR in windows the cursor is the same on dark backgrounds but moving it to a white area as before the cursor changes to a white capital I making it near impossible to see.

This occurs regardless of the program running, chrome, edge, notepad all the same.

I've tried changing desktop themes but it makes no difference.

The mouse pointer options in both the Win 10 menus and going through the control panel do not help. Pointer shadow, hide while typing all make no difference.

Turning on the inverted scheme means the mouse pointer turns light blue when it moves over white and there is no option I can find to change this.

This is on Windows 10 Home 64bit 2004 update.

    No mouse cursor

    Hi,

It is possible that the system did not recognize the mouse of your computer after it booted up. This can be the reason why you do not see the mouse cursor. Kindly perform a power cycle to refresh the power of the computer. To do this, follow these steps:

    • Shutdown the computer.
    • After shutting it down, remove the battery (if you're using a laptop) and disconnect the computer from the charger.
    • Wait for 1 minute.
    • After 1 minute, attach the battery and turn on the computer.
    • Check if you will see the mouse cursor.

Let us know how it goes.

  4. Mouse cursor getting over-exposed after turning OFF HDR.

HDR made one of my monitors dark and the cursor disappeared

The problem does not occur on my 2nd screen, which is HDR capable. I can't change HDR on my main screen. Turning on the option made my screen darker and my cursor invisible.
Disabling HDR in Xbox Game Bar does not help. Both monitors just flick a few times and that's it.
I tried reinstalling the drivers but it did not help.
The monitor is still darker and my mouse cursor is still invisible.
