  1. Mouse Cursor is transparent in Remote Desktop Session

We have a client who has been using Windows 365 for the past year or so. Today when he logged in he didn't have a mouse cursor. During our troubleshooting steps, we figured out that he did indeed have a mouse cursor but it was transparent as you can see in the pictures. I have tried changing the cursor to black and we also turned off hide when typing but nothing changed for him. If I log in with him through ConnectWise Control or Splashtop I can see the cursor just fine. I ended up installing Splashtop for him to use while we troubleshoot this issue and the cursor is working fine for him thr

  2. Remote Desktop - Screen resolution in remote session

I have connected to a remote desktop session and the windows in the remote session are all too small for me to see.

I have edited the remote desktop connection settings and cannot seem to make anything larger.

I am using a new Dell Inspiron Laptop which has a very high screen resolution 3840 x 2160

    Any suggestions appreciated

    Thank you

Microsoft Remote Desktop Mac Mouse porblems

    Hi Marco,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you are using Remote Desktop application on Mac OS and want to simulate the PC mouse right click on your Mac Mouse.

In order to make use of the right-click inside an open session you have options of using:

    • Standard PC two button USB mouse
    • Apple Magic Mouse: To enable right-click, click
System Preferences in the dock, click Mouse, and then enable
      Secondary click.

For additional information you can also refer the following links:

Meanwhile, if you have any queries regarding Remote Desktop Services, you can also post your query in

    TechNet forums
, which would be the appropriate forum for RDP issues, where you will find professionals with expertise on Remote Desktop.
